It's getting closer and closer to Christmas andi am getting SO excited. It's Lilli's first and also the first one Steve and i have spent together. He was here in san diego and i was at home last year. We got our tree up and frankly i hate it. a friend gave it to us and it's short and skinny and i just don't love it. but it's a tree and we'll get a better one after Christmas when they go on sale. i want a 7 foot prelit tree. something very full and very pretty. i still have some shopping to do. i have to get a few more things for Lilli and something for steve. we're more interested in getting lots of stuff for Lilli than for each other. i love Christmas. i love the feeling and the spirit. and maybe i'm crazy but even over all the commercialism of Christmas nowadays, i still enjoys giving to the needy and giving gifts to those i love. i enjoy it way more that getting gifts. i love to see the looks on my loved ones faces when i get them something they really love. to me the spirit of christmas is the giving and the family and friends and love for your fellow man. and of COURSE the bith of Christ. it never fails to amaze me how awesome God is that He sent His son, a part of Himself, to die for us. i know i am not worthy of such a sacrifice and i'm in awe that God did that to save me from myself. Our God is surely an awesome God!!
