5 days...is it January yet?
well It's been 5 days since Steve left and they have been a long, tough 5 days. Besides regular life to attend to, I have been missing him like crazy! I haven't been sleeping well because he's not there. This doesn't exactly put me in a good position to deal with a 2 year old little girl who ALSO misses her Daddy. She's showing it with typical military brat behavior. She's testing me and throwing alot of tantrums. I am just exhausted already! I dont even know how I'm going to handle this when the baby comes. She is so clingy to me and she does NOT like it when i hold other babies and she is not going to deal well when this baby comes. She's too used to having Mama all to herself. It would be so much easier if i had some help. I hate unedrways and i hate when Steve isn't here! :(

Gone. :(

Steve left this morning for a 3 month deployment. He's flying to Guam by way of Pearl Harbor. This is really hard for me this time because it's the first time in a year that he's left and he wont be back in time to see the baby born. DEFINITELY another girl by the way! :) I'm over the bawling mes part and into the depresed part. It's not the he's at sea part that's upsetting to me. It's that i have to give birth without him and it scares me to death. I know women do it all the time, but i don't want to do it without him!!!! I have no idea how Lilli is going to react to him being gone. She may not notice or she may start whining and misbehaving a lot. She's only two and not terribly clingy to her Daddy. So i guess we'll see. Sigh.

I am so bad with this!

I hope everyone is doing well!! We're all good over here on the Great North West! I am 24 weeks today! As for the gender they THINK it's a girl and I'm inclined to agree. I really thought it was a boy, but wasn't that suprised that they think it's a girl! Her name will be Maddison Anne. I'm due Christmas day which i am not excited about..I'm hoping for a couple weeks early or late. Steve Is doing well. He's very excited about being a daddy again! He's graduated from C school and is now a crew member of the USS Ohio Gold crew. Before much longer he will be going on a short deployment, meaning he will not be here for the birth of our baby. :( It's all ok though. My mom is supposed to be here and i have been approved for a military provided doula. So i wont be completely alone when i give birth. Lilli is doing gret! i can't believe she is 2 already. Time flies! She is so well behaved and smart and funny and beautiful! I don't know how we got so lucky!!! This baby is doing great. She's growing and flipping and kicking like crazy. I'm having a problem with sciatica which sucks, but otherwise everything is good!! Morning sickness is gone and i feel great!!!

Quick Update

So a lot has been going on since January. Steve and I have been participating in The Biggest Loser program here on base and we had our finale last night. Overall i came in 11th out of 45 with a 15 lb weight loss and Steve came in 5th with a 32 lb weight loss. We aren't done losing weight! Steve has to for work and i want to. I have a motto. 135 lbs or bust!! Steve turned 33 on March 22. We made a red velvet cake and just spent time together. next year, if he's home i'll probably throw him a party! Lilli is doing really well. Getting into the terrible 2's and throwing tantrums which drives me nuts! She's growing soo fast and getting so smart. Still not saying much but we're getting there! I'm doing pretty well. We're still trying to conceive though it isn't going well. Hopefully this month! We'll see. I hope everyone is doing well!

i know i'm a slacker

so it was just after halloween last time i posted. Lilli was the cutest little fairy! a few weeks later was Thanksgiving. we had a nice time. i cooked and we ate and just spent some time together as a family. My brother got married on December 14th and Lilli and i flew home for the wedding. Steve had work and didn't really want to go anyway. we were there for the weekend. it was a nice wedding and i have to say it was the most entertaining wedding i've ever been to. The bride said her vows wrong. Instead of "to laugh with you and cry with you" she said "to laugh at you and cry with you". then she got the giggles and could barely say her vows. pretty funny. We had a really nice Christmas. CHristmas Eve we opened one present then put out milk and cookies for santa. before bed we read "the Night Before Christmas" and hung our stockings. The next morning Lilli had a blast opening gifts and seeing what was in her stocking. she was a natural...didn't have to show her anything. She immediately started pulling things out of her stocking as soon as we got it out for her. She ripped into her presents like there was no tomorrow. She had a great time!!! I made a ham for dinner, and we spent the rest of the evening as a family. We're still up here in hell...i mean washington. Steve likes it here but i'd rather be almost anywhere else. Steve filled out his "wish list" with Kings Bay, GA 1st, hell 2nd, and san diego 3rd. so far it looks like Hell is winning out. we won't know anything for sure until the end of spring and Steve and his instructor are going to try really hard to get us out of here!!! The only think i like is the snow. we had a white Christmas which was great!!! i love the snow. Lilli enjoyed it too. Steve not so much! Lilli is growing up so fast. she'll be 18 months old on the 29th. My baby isn't a baby anymore!!!!!!! Steve and i are participating in a local Biggest Loser competition. So far so good. It's hard but we're doing well. Lilli and i are sick right now. i have a sinus infection and she has a bit of a cold. I'm feeling much better but Lilli is just getting started! SHe was up all night last night crying. Hopefully she sleeps tonight! just in case i'm going to bed EARLY!!! My best friend Amanda Gave birth to Twins on January 22nd. She was only 27 weeks pregnant. A little boy, Heath Jenson, weighs just over 2 pounds and is on a respirator. He has a bit of a lung infection and his circulation is not good. Ivy Jreide (no idea how to pronounce that) is doing well. she is just over 1 pound and is already off her respirator and eating a little bit. They say she's a bit of a Diva already. Please Keep Amanda and her husband nich and their Babies in your prayers. they need every prayer they can get!! We're all doing well and i will try to keep this up a bit better!! Much Love!!!
